YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO START IN THE MIDDLE
Most people are intimidated by starting Jiu Jitsu because they assume they will walk into a room where everyone else already knows what they are doing.
Gym Jitsu removes that problem by giving beginners a common starting line. Your Jiu Jitsu cohort begins with other beginners who are learning the same foundational material, at the same time, from day one.
Guaranteed Beginner Start: Your Jiu Jitsu cohort begins with other beginners who are learning the same foundational material.

BEGINNER DOESN'T MEAN EASY
Beginner training is not “watered-down” Jiu Jitsu. It is focused Jiu Jitsu. Your cohort spends five weeks developing the positions, movements, habits, and technical understanding that more advanced training depends on. There will still be challenges. You will get tired. Techniques will take practice. Some classes will make more sense than others.
That is part of learning. Our job is to give you the structure, coaching, and training environment necessary to keep making progress.
THE COHORT IS YOUR STARTING POINT
The Beginner Jiu Jitsu Cohort is your starting point, not a standalone program. At the end of the five weeks, your coach helps you determine the appropriate next step based on your comfort, consistency, and goals.
From there, students typically continue into:
- Adult Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals: Continue building on your cohort foundation.
- All Levels, No-Gi, Judo & Additional Training: Expand into Gym Jitsu’s full adult program.
Beginner Jiu Jitsu Cohort → Adult Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals → All Levels / No-Gi / Judo / Additional Training
WHY START AT GYM JITSU ALLEN?
